Today was the last day of the
Jagged Globe Montaineering course. Unfortunately Phils' knee was too sore to join us. Andy decided that he would like a day to learn skills, gear placements, belays, ropework, moving together, leading and abseiling - I thought let's see what we can do - phew. So we headed for Gearr Aonach and the Zig Zags. We found a lot of snow and perfect conditions for learning. Eventually after Clove this and Italian that, we made an ab retreat and back to the hotel to find Phil. On the way out we found our footprints covered by even more fresh snow. Maybe skiing for the next week is the way forward.
