The first section of the climb - huge amounts of snow build up

Jim using a rope. Hopefully no more soloing for him after this course.A climbing day - a difficult day for choosing a safe venue - we opted for the Zig Zags to learn how to lead on mixed ground. Jim is used to soloing - so my job for the weekend was to make his future safer by getting him to use a rope.
