Chris - look at me, look at me

Last Tuesday was a great day. We all walked in to Stob Coire Nan Lochan together. A couple of teams headed for SC Gully, I headed for Twisting and Chris led the line of teams heading for Dorsal Arete. He later told me that he had an awesome time on the route. He even had a leisurely trip to the summit.

He proudly showed me his new favourite photo, above. He gave his camera to Robert, who took some great shots. Chris always managed to look good for the camera.

Scottish Ice

Today was my first Scottish day of 2010. I joined Chris Walker and his client Kerry. The wind was strong gusting to 75mph and was building slab on NW to NE aspects. So we kept low at about 750m. We found a large mass of ice perfect for our use. We had a great day climbing all over the ice (I must file my axes). Roll on tomorow..

2009 Winter Season Starts

Poor conditions at the beginning of the season lead Chris Walker and I to do some dry tooling down the road from Fort William. Fun, but we hope for better conditions soon..
