Intro to Rock on the Aberdeen sea cliffs

Wednesday evening provided Catrin, Christina and I the chance to get out to the local cliffs for some climbing.  Catrin had a little outdoor experience but touching rock was all new for Christina as both regularly climb indoors at Transition Extreme.

Both managed five climbs in only a few hours which is an achievement in itself given it was their first outing.  We started on a Diff and quickly progressed onto Severe with a slightly harder climb to finish with.

After some good routes and banter we headed home happy with getting a taste for outdoor climbing.
