There was a high avalanche risk forecast for many venues today, so the West Face of Aonach Mor was one of the safest places to climb. But Lena had a difficult night with 3 hours sleep and was only ready to jump in a car at 9am. So we had a late start walking to the route (10am) and had to move fast to get back to the car at 4pm. We made it. Tired but happy.
