Single pitch days

I've given myself a slap on the wrist for being a bit rubbish lately with the camera and posting on the blog.  Usually being snap happy is just my thing and you'd normally see me clicking away on the camera more often than not.  So, without letting go of the rope I'll get back into my routine of snapping away on days out and posting regularly.

I've been using my time away form Transition lately to get onto the local crags and ramp up some mileage until the mountain crags are a little less snowy.  "Why wish the snow away?" you say; well hate to admit I'm really psyched for a great and busy season this year getting out as much as possible climbing and walking in the mountains.

Some of the crags visited include Clashrodney,  Fulmar Wall North of Aberdeen (see pics below) since it hasn't been claimed by the birds yet, South Cove (which has been almost completely claimed) and a few other popular destinations close by Aberdeen.  A failed trip to Glen Clova on Thursday (rain, rain and more rain) has made me more resolute in my quest for ticking lots of routes off in the Doonie and Red Craigs areas.
