It's been a while since i've Blogged so i thought a wee post about Aila's first proper exploits on the North East Sea Cliffs would be good. She's been out scrambling on a number of occasions but a couple of weeks ago she started to tackle some real routes.
We were climbing at Miekle Partans for the afternoon and geared up whilst having a bite to eat.

Aila climbed two routes graded at Diff and even had an abseil in between for fun. It may not look it but she really enjoyed that too! Her second route was a little more damp as the rain came on as we were descending to it's start. With determination (and a few stops to enjoy the wildlife; I couldn't help pointing things out) she pushed on through to the top amidst the wet rock.
