Well Done Catrin

On Saturday, I went to Ratho to see Catrin compete in the 2012 BMC Open Youth Event. There were 2 qualifying rounds and a final. On route 1, Catrin topped out, putting her in a good position ready for route 2.

Catrin did incredibly well on Route 2, but missed out on the top 6 positions, so missed out on the Final. In her first competition, and first visit to Ratho, Catrin was up against some more seasoned, and older competitors (with longer reach!), but her good final position has encouraged her to increae her efforts for the British Leading Championships in October - watch this space!
