Back To Kingussie With First Year Students

Jacob's first practical day on the degree course

Today I was back to Kingussie, avoiding the wet weather of the west. This time with the first year degree students of the University of Highlands and Islands, West Highland College, Adventure Tourism Management course. The course has been joined by Jacob who has just transferred from a Theology degree - so a big change for him - today he went climbing for the first ever time, and of course he loved it! What's not to love, the climbing, the scenery, the company, and the quality instruction !

(The last person I knew to go on a Theology degree was James Bamber, who went on to become a Methodist Minister. How are you James? As it turned out Jacob's Dad is a minister, but now Jacob is a climber - maybe he'll end up being both?)
