Sunny Multipitch in Glen Clova

I've finally gotten round to posting last weeks exploits to Gen Clova with Ben.

Thursday offered us a damp and murky start to the day on our travel to the glen but it quickly brightened up to dry off the dampness and keep us warm for the duration.

The main focus of the day was multipitch progression and stances but with lots of climbing. We looked at belay stance set up, progression of the leader and swapping over at the stance. Ultimately all these led to honing of rope management skills.

With the various options available we looked at the best for each scenario and the pro's and con's of using different techniques and equipment. The end of the day was a good chance to look at Ben's newest piece of kit; the Petzl Reverso and how it is used as a 'guide plate' in some instances.
