Matt, Neil and I got early to the Ben and headed to Fawlty Towers. We were doing well in the difficult conditions. The wind was blowing, the snow was falling, but we pushed on. We got to below Fawlty Towers and spotted snow sloughing off the cliffs. We had a difficult decision to make, and turned around, following our footprints back... 
We moved to plan b, which was some climbing on the icy gulch above the CIC hut. It was definitely NOT in condition and there were some scary sounds as we climbed over it! - but we left it intact. We managed 2 pitches of interesting! ice climbing.. 
Neil loving it...
We got off the Ben and moved to dry tooling for the end of the afternoon. 
A quick climb each finished the day perfectly...
Matt and Neil are around for a few more days, so we discussed safety in the current difficult conditions...
