We took the course today to the Ice Factor for a bit of indoor training - whilst the storm force winds blew outside. We covered bottom roping on the rock wall, bottom roped ice climbing, starting to learn to lead for some on the rock wall, bouldering, various anchors, ropework, and I had some chocolate cake!
I think some of them have found new hobbies in rock climbing and possibly winter climbing! - Wait until they realise it's not a hobby, but a lifestyle! Tomorrow the weather will improve so we'll head back to the snow.
