Sam and I ferried Aila off to her Gran's house for the afternoon and made our way to South Cove for a quick afternoon of climbing. Besides the wind conditions were great and if you were crafty; there were plenty of routes out of the buffeting wind. Short but sweet it was a good chance to oil the Trad mindset since the prospect of longer days and nicer weather is upon us.
Me on the final moves of Capitol Wall (a damp start and a loose finish!)
Sam followed me up a few of the routes including; Streetwise (VS 4c*) and Glaswegian Snotter (HS*) down at Cairnrobin Point as well as Capitol Wall (VS 4b*) on Central Buttress just a little further North.
Not many photo's but for once I'm in them!
Some of us can't help looking silly for the camera.
