Twisting Gully

Central buttresses in Stob Coire nan Lochan
Jagged Globe - Snow and Ice climbing course

Ian, Catherine and I headed off to Stob Coire nan Lochan today. We ended up on Twisting Gully, which was again in brilliant condition. There was a little fresh snow about but not yet enough to cause over concern. Later looking down NC gully, there was no cornice or slab on the slopes. However all will probably change on Friday morning after Thursday nights snow and wind.

Twisting Gully on the left hand side and Twisting Gully Right-Hand on the RHS - a team above us on it dropped an ice screw and a nut (as well as ice)
