Zig Zags And Waist Deep Snow Again
Day 5 for Chris, Colin and Steve. With a slightly diffiecult forecast and lots of snow we headed for the Zig Zags to round up their mountaineering course. We enjoyed all the climbing and topped out on Gearr Aonach to worsening conditions. The track that was there a couple of days ago was now gone.... Oh well - our turn to put a track in then...
Into the Lochan we made our way round to a safe way down avoiding the loaded slopes. At 2pm we saw a team still breaking trail up to Dorsal Arete! Also a different team made their way down Broad Gully! It was a great week with great company - so thank you to Steve, Colin and Chris for making it fun. Thank you to Chris for using his 6 feet, 3 inches, and rowing legs for taking a turn breaking trail on Friday...
