Today I was working for Jagged Globe. We started a snow and ice climbing course - I was with Fred and Roger. We headed for Aonach Mor. This is the cornice tunnel exit to White Shark at the moment... Will be different now though !!
This is the right hand (III) version of Tunnel Vision - today..
We took the thicker ice on the Left Branch (III,4) which gave excellent climbing on perfect neve, and even some (!) good ice for screws. There was even a notch in the old cornice waiting for us - awesome... The right branch would have been possible today - with a hard R traverse at the top to the Morwind exit.. In the photo is Fred with Roger behind..
