Winter Mountaineering Training

On Thursday the Winter Mountaineering team (Jagged Globe) headed to the Ice Factor. The team was new to belaying so we worked on bottom roping, indoors on the rock wall, outdoors on the dry tool wall, and then the ice wall. The team has varied interests with different expeditions coming up - Denali for a Jeff and Douglas in a couple on months, Greenland for Chris in a few weeks, and the Alps for Stefan in the summer - so we worked on ropework, and in particular anchors and a little crevasse rescue.
