Raeburn's Easy Route and The Cascade today

Today I was working for Jagged Globe (Scottish Winter Courses) with Bala and Simon at the end of their week of climbing. Today they were ready to lead themselves up Ledge Route on the Ben.

Ledge route seemed quite popular today, with lots of teams making their way up and some teams on their way down (Zac was on his way down after doing Castle Ridge). There was a lot of rock on Ledge Route, but we wore our crampons on the whole route to the top.

Green, Comb, White Line, and Glovers are not complete any longer, but there were lots of routes climbed today, for example Tower Scoop and No. 3 Gully Buttress.

Bala and Simon shared leading the route, and at the top they were rewarded with poor visibility and even a little snow. So they had to continue to work on navigating their way down. A great day to complete a good week for them.
