Working for Jagged Globe, today I was with Malcolm Dobson - and we were about to realise a 30 year ambition of his ... He has been waiting that long to climb across the Aonach Eagach Ridge - today would be the day. It was day 6 on the hill for him, because he has just completed a demanding Mountaineering course with Jagged Globe - but still he managed to keep it together...
The weather forecast looked fantastic, but we manages to find the 1 cloud in all of Scotland - and we managed to stay in it for most of the day... Thsi wasn't all bad news though, because 2 minutes after saying he had never seen a brocken spectre - out one popped - with 4 rings !!! That was awesome...
I never put my crampons on or used my axes !!
We still had a fantastic day... All good...
