North Ridge of Stob Ban in the MamoresToday working for Jagged Globe I was again with Eddie. He wanted a more technical day of looking at abseiling, belaying, using fixed ropes - and his first rock climb. We headed to SW Buttress to look at abseiling. The weather could have been worse! We had many sunny intervals between the wintery showers.

After the morning session, we went for Eddie's first rock climb on The Gutter. The weather was less than kind to Eddie, the rock was wet and covered in snow and sleet, but with careful footwork and a lot of determination he made it to the top, even with winter gloves on.
